Two Worlds United is a nonprofit organization designated by the United States Department of State, formerly the United States Information Agency.

Two Worlds United was created with the mission of improving the intercultural education of youth and increasing worldwide understanding.

In accordance with the Two Worlds United Policies and Programs Standards of Conduct, the purpose of Two Worlds United is to provide opportunities for people of diverse cultures to come together to learn about different points of view and ways of life. We believe cross-cultural understanding is a fundamental step in promoting better international relations and world peace.

Two Worlds United makes possible a wide range of programs that allow students to experience the cultures of the world. Two Worlds United programs are designed to allow students from around the world to spend an academic year, semester or summer abroad living with a host family while studying at a local school.  Other educational programs made possible by Two Worlds United include Short-Term Language Study programs, International Tour Programs, Internship Programs, Work-Abroad Programs and Teaching Abroad Programs.

At Two Worlds United, the combined efforts of our international network of dedicated staff and volunteers have made possible the opportunities for youth to participate in these great intercultural projects. Our staff is experienced in the field of International Education.  We have learned through the direct experiences with international students how to provide the necessary guidance, allowing students to make the most of the experience abroad.
