Academic year/ Semester Program
The
students live with carefully selected host families and attend a local public
High School. The High School can be private upon request.
Students become integrated into the way
of life and culture of the new country . Each student has a local coordinator who monitors and
provides support for students in cooperation with the the central office staff.
The Destination Countries in which students can participate are: Argentina,

What
are the Requirements?
The requirements for the participation in the Year
programs are:
- High School student or
equivalent
- Age between 15 to 18
years
- Two
years high school level or equivalent of Foreign language.
- Good academic level
(overall GPA of at least a C)
- Maturity to adapt to new
environments.
- Successful score in a
personal interview.

and a local representative will contact you with all of the necessary
information.
Application
Deadlines
Keep in mind each program has a
different application deadline. The deadline applies to the receipt of the
full application and not the Enrollment Form. The Enrollment Form needs to
be completed and received by the Main Office at least two weeks prior to the
application deadline. The application deadline for the Academic Year program is 30th
of April. After this dates applicants who wish to participate in the
program should include a late fee of $350 (the late fee will be fully reimbursed
if the student is unable to be placed in the time remaining).
How
to get Started
If you meet the requirements for the program in which you would like to
participate, please complete the online Enrollment
Form. Once your completed Enrollment Form is received, you will be
sent a full application and more information about the program of your choice.
The completed application must be received in our Main Office by the deadline
date, 30th of April. Once your application is reviewed by the Two Worlds United Organization and you
are found to meet all program requirements, arrangements will be made for an
interview with a Two Worlds United Organization Representative in your area.
Program
Includes
- Selection of Host Family
and School.
- Local Coordinator in the
area of your placement.
- Transfer to and from the
host family at the beginning and the end of the program.
- Homestay, three or more
meals a day, seven days a week.
- Enrollment in a Public High School
in the destination country.
- Translation of all
School Transcripts.
- Transcript and Credits
counseling.
- Orientations.
(Two Worlds United considers a student placed with a host
family after having emailed or faxed the first placement information)
